Our advanced concrete reinforcement inhibitors (CRI) protect embedded steel structures by forming chemisorbed molecular protective films. Active molecules transport through the concrete pore network to establish a highly stable passivation layer directly at the steel-concrete interface, suppressing both anodic metal dissolution and cathodic oxygen reduction.
This protective molecular film counteracts aggressive environmental factors including chloride ingress, carbonation, moisture, and oxygen without altering the mechanical properties of the concrete.
This significantly extends the service life of bridges, ports, tunnels, and industrial plants exposed to aggressive marine environments or de-icing salts, drastically reducing ongoing lifecycle rehabilitation costs.
